What is DMi?
DMi is a sub-group to Design Madison. It was created by four members of Design Madison who all shared the common goal of improving and promoting the interactive discipline in the Madison market.
Like Design Madison, DMi will hold seasonal events which feature established professionals. But DMi is going to go further, far beyond the lecture circuit, to help promote the interactive industry within Madison.
Quick, think of the top interactive studio in Madison. I bet we can guess who your pick is... now think of two more. Can you do it? When asked, most people in Madison can't think of more than one or two companies in Madison that even do interactive. Fewer can name companies that are doing it well. Interactive, as a discipline, has little real competition in Madison, DMi seeks to change all that.
It's no surprise that DMi was founded by four individuals who all work at competing agencies. It's only through competition that interactive design will progress.
