About Design Madison - The Mission
Design Madison, like most non-profits, is a cause. It has a reason for existing that extends beyond just getting together and having a few drinks. We have a mission we are determined to accomplish. The mission is both our measuring stick and our vision. It provides the metrics for all of our actions, time and energy. Each time we act to accomplish something, we must ask ourselves "is this true to our mission?" If the answer is no, then the action should be brought into question. The Design Madison Mission:
THE PURPOSE OF DESIGN MADISON IS TO AMPLIFY THE IMPACT THAT DESIGN PLAYS IN THE STRUCTURE OF SOCIETY AND BUSINESS.
DESIGN MADISON WILL CONTINUALLY INITIATE INNOVATIVE WAYS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR A BROAD COMMUNITY OF DESIGNERS.
